Floors Castle is a perfect place to visit. It is the largest inhabited castle in Scotland, home to the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe. The walled garden, terrace Cafe, adventure playground and garden center are open all year.

The gardens are beautiful all the year round, especially the wonderful herbacaeous borders in the Summer and Autumn. The agapanthus by the cafe terrace are also stunning.

The cafe terrace cafe is a great place for lunch or a coffee. The castle chef prepares delicious food for us all to enjoy. Casserroles are sold in tin foil dishes perfect for throwing in the oven - perfect for selfcaterers. It means you can enjoy food fit for a duke in the comfort of Plum Braes Barn! The apple pies, ginger bread and short bread are also excellent. The puddings are wonderful too. It is worth a visit at the start of your holiday!
